You, Me, And 562CityLife
It was a night filled with fresh beats provided by TheeDopeShow, smiles, wine, delicious coffee supplied by It’s A Grind, good conversations, wonderful contacts, and awesome 562CityLife hoodies for raffle (thanks to Red Eye Media). On Sunday night, 562CityLife held it’s first mixer. Great opportunities and tremendous talent filled The Collaborative. Wherever you turned, you saw a connection being made and that is what this event was all about. Bringing together small businesses and the arts. Below are some snapshots taken from the event. A big thank you to those who came out. It was amazing to meet all of you. Your smiles and optimism made the mixer a great introduction as to how we can all come together. Also thank you to Long Beach Community Foundation, Connected Corridor, and the John S. & James L. Knight Foundation’s Transformation Initi... for helping to fund the event through their grant program. For those who weren’t able to make this one...you won’t want to miss the next! Although it was hard getting out of the house (Sunday nights are family time, after all!), I had a great time. I'm always excited to meet fresh faces, and engage with new ideas, but it was also a joy to reconnect with people I knew. A great turn-out, great music, and a nice close to a very good art exhibition.

Outstanding community event! Truly the Connected Corridor spirit was alive and well on this fabulous evening in our Phase Four area. Thank you so much for putting on a super time for conversations, engagement and fun! I can't wait for the next one.
