Attention horror fans, cult cinema junkies, and zombies everywhere - This Saturday The Art Theater in Long Beach along with MondoCelluloid and Alive Theater presents Shaun of the Dead with a pre-show "Zombie Walk".

MondoCelluloid hosts a weekly cult classic or horror movie showing and after joining these guys for a showing of Stephen Kings classic Carrie last week, they definitely know how to have fun!

This Saturdays, May 30th, showing all kicks off at 10:00pm with a meetup at Portfolio's Coffee House on 4th and Junipero. From there all the Zombies will slowly walk (moaning and groaning) together down 4th to the Art Theater. The actual screening will be a 35mm print of Shaun of the Dead at 11:00pm! Tickets are $10 - ZOMBIES GET IN FOR $8! So, as they say on there website, tear up an old tee shirt, throw on some makeup, throw your arms out, and proclaim your hunger for braaiiinns!!

The zombie walk tradition got going in 2003 in Toronto Canada and had only seven participants, but by 2007 had grown to over 1,100 participants. Here is a video from a recent LA Zombie Walk:
