I lost my father November 26th. Thanksgiving Day took on a whole new meaning for me this year. I thought I would write here and share my thanks with everyone. We know there are so many families grieving loved ones this day of thanks. As I held my dads lifeless body in his living room I realized that we are fragile beings. We have the capacity to be so powerful yet so vulnerable. We have the strength to be empowering yet can feel so insecure. We have the confidence to take on the most challenging of periods in our lives yet are fearful as we look towards what tomorrow holds. Knowing that tomorrow might not guarantee us another breath we should relish in the day. enjoy the opportunities we are given today. Each moment is full of opportunities to love. Reach out and express to those loved ones what you feel. If you are alone enjoy your day. Breathe in the air. look in the sky and be amazed at your surroundings. We can find beauty in the midst of chaos. Open your close minded eyes. We are given gifts each one of us. We are given opportunities each moment of our lives to inspire and be inspired. Although I lost my father I know and realize it is a very natural event. We all are face with our mortality. We always have to be aware of this and know that the moments count. Whatever your morals or beliefs know that we are all connected and we affect each other. We can lift each other up as well as down. Life is a very dramatic event. We hold the key each one of us to write that script. Be thankful. Be gracious. Be content. Love.

Ah Man, Daniel... so sorry for you to lose your father. Thank you for sharing your insight with us. It's crazy just how true this is: "We have the confidence to take on the most challenging of periods in our lives yet are fearful as we look towards what tomorrow holds."
