TEDxSoCal Is Coming To Long Beach
Hey what's up City Lifers? I just wanted to share with you about a cool event coming up called TEDxSoCal. This is basically a smaller version of the huge TED conference held in Long Beach. Check out the details below and expect interviews from the speakers to come soon.

TEDxSoCal Thriving!
Thriving is more than just surviving; it's growing, prospering, and flourishing. This day-long event explores how communities, organizations, and individuals can thrive mentally, physically, and artistically. Attendees will have opportunities to hear and discuss "ideas worth spreading" from innovators in well-being, creative cultures, sustainability and lifelong learning. Come be entertained and inspired.

TEDxSoCal at the Center Theatre in Long Beach
Tickets go on sale Friday, May 13th.$40 General Admission
$20 Students
The intimate Center Theatre at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center is home to the TED University sessions during the annual TED Conference.
Join us in beautiful downtown Long Beach on Saturday July 16, 2011 for a day filled with short talks, performances, pre-recorded TEDTalks and an evening reception where participants will continue to interact and engage the ideas of the event.

That is a pretty good price for a TEDx. I went to TEDxUSC in 2010. It blew my mind.
Now...where do I have an extra $40...
