The scene was relaxed with a mixed audience grooving to the sounds of
Jay Buchanan. Booths featuring
Writenowpoets.org, Found Magazine, jewelry, and button making were supplied with happy faces ready to answer questions or help you in any way. Poetry by
Derrick Brown,
Mindy Nettifee,
Beau Sia, and
Amber Tamblyn was inspiring. More music supplied by
Free Moral Agents and
Dj Abel filled the air. It was a wonderful feel good vibe. While all the groups gathered on the outside, filling their minds with great music and energy. There was much to be seen in the three adjoining cargo shipping containers that fenced in the crowd. The photography that filled the cargo containers were heartening, uplifting, and influential.
The Goods Gallery is composed of three adjoining cargo shipping containers. They are all connected to make a U-shape and is completely mobile. The Goods Gallery is uniquely a public-private partnership. Smolarcorp created the gallery along with ISM: a community project inc.
