Thanks, i will definitely suggest Smooths, my friend doesn't like latin music so Alegria is a no go, but i have been there to see the flamenco show and it and the food was so awesome. Great date place.

Smooths is good. If you like Latin style Alegria looks like a pretty good spot too!

ok, so now i'm looking into celebrating my birthday on december 12th and need ideas, got any? i love to dance and have been to Sachi's, Smooths, Wasabi's, V20 (but on a saturday), the basement, panama joe's, cohiba. i think that's it.

Well, it was pretty good but you need to go with outgoing people, the bigger the group, the better and don't forget to drink the spirits because it loosens the vocal chords. There's a $5 cover charge which changes to $10 at some point and the cover charge stands even if you have reservations to eat there! The tables are cocktail size so having four meals on the table was quite the challenge. The piano players were great, they had three that rotated to give one a break and two of them played the drums every now and then which was great. So i'd give it a thumbs up.
