I had my Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Friday the 9th. It was done by the Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce. Has any one had a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony before?? Do you thing is a good thing to do? Or is it a waste of time? Has any one seen big scissors like these before?

My husband had a ribbon cutting ceremony in a business he opened years ago. Promos do help get the word out and that's what you are doing here, which is good. Yes we had big scissors used back then too; it just dramatizes the opening event and gets people's attention. Then you can use the photo and the supporting article and post it into various news media outlets--newspapers, magazines, social networking sites, other places people look for market-related information. It's just another form of advertising.
