I am always humbled when people compliment the Art work I create. I know they like it so they want to tell me what they feel. I find it hard sometimes to take these compliments. I love doing what I do but I sometimes have a different perspective or opinion of my own work. It sucks. With that being said. I still have a following of people that request me to paint them paintings and still enjoy looking at my art. That is wonderful. I have been getting a lot of calls and e-mails lately to show my work. That is very humbling. I am so honored that someone thinks that much of my work to let me display it in an event which they are running or planning. I have been invited to Belmont Shore Art Walk Sunday October 25th @ 5804 E. 2nd Street Story Teller Productions. I will be displaying my work outside of this business. I will also be showing along in Elise's Tea Room November 6th 3924 Atlantic Avenue Bixby Knolls. Elise's Tea Room. Apparently I have some very important Art Critique from the LA Times. Yikes. I did not know I was ready for that. Ill go with the flow. The next night I am A part of a silent auction for 4NOLA
Charity benefit. I will be showing my work there. There are a lot of doors opening. And I take them and enjoying them even though my fears and insecurities try and make me hide. I know in my heart these are opportunities that will lead to bigger and better things for my ultimate goal. So I embrace them. Life deals you a certain hand....sometimes we ask the dealer to re-deal. The next hand might not be as smooth as the last. We make choices. We live with these choices.
