"We are happy for the 18,000 Gay & Lesbian couples whose marriages will stand but are sad that California Supreme Court has decided to uphold the vote on Prop 8. We will not stop fighting for EQUAL rights!" - ShoutLongBeach

Tonight was a night full of love. A night that was not looked at as a loss. Of course, many were disappointed by the ruling of the California Supreme Court on Prop. 8, but this gave the gay community fuel. Fuel to keep going. To keep fighting. It gave them hope of a new day. All the speakers at the Decision Day Rally on Junipero and 2nd, spoke of hope. Hope that if the gay community and their supporters continue to fight Proposition 8, they WILL succeed.

It's a message I could not look away from months ago when Prop. 8 first appeared on my ballot. It is a movement I continue to support. It comes down to one easy stance, equal rights for all.
