Join the play development process at ICT - FREE Staged Reading

Join in the play development process with International City Theatre! If you have never been to a reading, it is a very interesting and unique way to experience theatre. There is no set, minimal props, and the actors have their scripts in front of them as they read their lines. For a regional theatre like ICT, staged readings allow for them to accomplish two things: 1) It is a wonderful way for playwrights to get honest feedback about their play. After the reading, questions will be directed towards the audience about what they liked and didn' t like about the play. 2) It is a useful tool for a theatre in gauging the interest of the public with respect to organizing a full-fledged production of the play being read.

ICT's upcoming reading, Sweet Karma, is an intense play about the life of Dr. Haing Ngor. The reading is free but reservations. Please come and enjoy a new play and contribute to its development as it hits the stage!
