As all of you can see, I am a big holiday spirited person. I love the smell of gingerbread and fresh cut Christmas trees, baking sugar cookies, and gazing at the many lights we have displayed throughout our gorgeous city, Long Beach.
One thing that I think all of us citylifers' should check out is what is happening down at The Pike
. This year, The Pike
has decorated their tree with gorgeous turquoise and green ornaments and gifts.
regularly offers fun on their merry go round and giant Ferris wheel but for the holiday season, The Pike has brought ice-skating to their line. Now you can experience an old classic holiday tradition of going ice-skating. The rink will be open till January 31 so definitely get your holly jolly selves down there.
Make a day of it! Walk along Rainbow Harbor, enjoy the sights of the boats cruising along the water, take one of the many offered cruises, dine at one of the various restaurants, and finish off your day with ice-skating.
Also pick up your fragrant live Christmas tree at Santa & Sons and definitely stop into Long Beach Clothing Company
to pick up a tee or two and share the Long Beach love. Have fun!
* I would love to see photos of our 562citylifers ice-skating! Post them!
