UPDATE: I got word late this afternoon that Sara was found safe. I don't know the details, but I'm just so happy she's home safe. THANK YOU to everyone who retweeted and reposted! It's wonderful to know there are some good people out there still.

Everyone, I got word this morning that my friend’s daughter is missing. Here was the original posting on Facebook by Michael’s stepmom:

“ATTN Los Angeles County! My friends daughter is missing. She did not come home last night. Her name is Sarah and is 12 years old. Blonde with blue eyes. Last seen in Downtown Long Beach! Please Let me know if u have seen her. Prayers are needed!” Posted by Alissa Palmer

I did get more information.

Her name is Sara Burrell. She was last seen wearing a blue shirt and jeans. She’s 5’4”, 130 pounds. Her friends live near Poly HS in Long Beach.
