Lola's was the scene last night. The aroma of mexican cuisine and good conversation filled the patio area. 562citylife hosted it's first meetup and we are so happy to say that it was a success. Many people have been asking us lately why we started 562citylife.com and to answer the question we simply point at last nights event. We're very proud of the diverse range of people who joined us for our first meetup. The one reason that we started the site is in an effort to build a strong connection to the community. We think that last night was a great stepping stone. Thanks everyone for coming out! And if you missed this time around, keep an eye out for the next one.

Nice to see Long Beach PArty Project AND Everything Long Beach in your pics!
PS Looking for an entitiy to take over my Live Music Meetup group. I do NOT want it to be taken over by a band member or solitary venue - meetup.com groups don't seem to work well pushing only One place or One band.
Let me know - I'm waiting to hear back from 2 orgs about taking it over...

This was indeed a cool nite. The movie is a classic with an all-star cast. Great seeing it on the big screen for the 1st time.
