So I'm sitting here at It's a Grind in Bixby Knolls, no more than 15 minutes and I already come across a couple of cool things. The first thing is as soon as I walk in, there's a dude sitting here wearing a 562CityLife/Red Eye Media T-shirt! The first thing I think is, "Hell yeah!" Not so long after I get an e-mail from Matt "The Truth" Saunders… Continue

Yesterday, Downtown Long Beach was host to the Red Bull Flugtag that had a record 105,000 people show up. I was out there solo bolo like a boss, and grabbed some footage. It was tough to find a good spot to film from because of how packed it was!Added by The Man on August 22, 2010 at 12:35pm — 10 Comments

Hey CityLifers, we all know about the school budgets that are getting cut and the teachers who get laid off. There's now the issue of increased class sizes is one of the many concerns for teachers. Dave San Jose, community activist and known for his positive role in North Long Beach, especially with the Bikes 90800 program. I read an article on the Press Telegram today that talked about Long Beach City Manager Pat West would like to cut the city's deficit of $18.5 million by $7.2 million and has aked for pay freezes as well. The interesting thing about this article is that it has a survey asking what would you cut.© 2013 Created by CityLife.
