It may be space that is an issue but there are ways around it. You can try container gardening and you can start by reading my post about the subject here. There are many posts and information out… Continue

Adam Hass' Remnant Visions Art Exhibit

Yesterday I went to check out the homie, Adam Hass' very first art exhibit called, Remnant Visions. I had no idea how much art work Adam had and I thought that was really cool. The turn out was tight and there were some good snacks. Which I didn't eat any because I'm on my "no-carb" diet thanks to Jahaziel Romero from Red Eye Media, the same guys who are sponsoring our… Continue

Most Dangerous Intersections in Long Beach

Is there a place in Long Beach that you dread making a left hand turn or crossing because you've alost hit or been hit? Well that's what this blog is about today, to inform you of those danger spots. So today, I was rollin' around in the LBC and I had a few close calls... By close calls I mean near death experiences aka car crashes. Well maybe not near death, but I've been in a horrible motorcycle accident on Mother's Day of '07 so I know what it feels like to get close to being… Continue

Mondo Midnights Returning to The Art!

So I'm sitting here at It's a Grind in Bixby Knolls, no more than 15 minutes and I already come across a couple of cool things. Not so long after I get an e-mail from Matt "The Truth" Saunders… Continue

This series has been popular and I have requests to keep adding to it. I tried to put them in order in the gallery but it may not be correct.

Anyways, here is the next in the series.

VIDEO: Long Beach RedBull Flugtag!

Late again and this time it cost me! As we walked down towards Gladstones I realized how incredibly packed this small harbor was. The lighthouse park where I had originally intended to set up was so thick with people you couldn't even tell they were standing on grass! Long Beach set a record for the RedBull Flugtag in attendance, with over 105,000, but there were no flight records set as not ONE team achieved successful flight. It was funny as hell though…

Yesterday, Downtown Long Beach was host to the Red Bull Flugtag that had a record 105,000 people show up. I was out there solo bolo like a boss, and grabbed some footage. It was tough to find a good spot to film from because of how packed it was!

The weather was hot and sunny and it was perfect for Long Beach. It reminded… Continue

Long Beach Hip Hop Rallys For Fallen Friend

The last few weekends have been a live music frenzy in Long Beach with SO much going on. I had a chance to check out a very important show we had mentioned on the site a few weeks back. The tribute show for Peter Sirimarco was an all day venture held at Di Piazza's with some big name hip hop acts including Ugly Duckling, Philieano, Loony Bin, and Pete's band Prominent Sons to name a few. Check out the video from the show and show your support for local… Continue

Martin Luther King Park Celebrates Long Beach Culture

Yesterday I was invited to an event by a good friend of mine, David Leonard at Martin Luther King Park. He's been telling me to hit this event up every Wednesday, but I've been flaking out on him but I had good reasons(excuses)! I think... Anyways, I was glad I went to the event, because it reminded me that everywhere in Long Beach, people are trying to share and bring the diversity of this city together. There were different ages, races, and people from all kinds of backgrounds that… Continue
