That's what happened to me Saturday, as I entered my favorite watering hole here in Merced. About five paces from the door and five seconds after shelling out a $5 cover charge I was greeted by a stumbling drunk middle-aged woman and I thought, "Damn it's only 11 p.m. this party must be jumpin'?"
But a quick scan of the narrow bar revealed a lot of sights I was not accustomed to at this usually… Continue
