To answer the question if there is a difference and similarity, there is a broad range of people who do graffiti and paint on walls. Some people do it for themselves, to get their name up and show that they exist. Some do it to bomb the system or as…

LONG BEACH - How do you measure a life well lived and well loved?
In the case of Melody Ross, the effervescent 16-year-old bystander killed after Friday night's Wilson High football game by a still unidentified gunman, we're still learning.
Maybe her life can be measured in the massive outpourings of grief and… Continue
Hi ryanthelion, looks like you have a lot of experience with teaching. Do you work with any non-profit agencies who hire consultants to come in and do trainings? I'm really good at teaching Helping and Listening skills and I know how to train people to use Motivational Interviewing. There are many agencies who are moving toward this method so I was thinking I could help in that area. I'm talking to a few mental health/substance abuse agencies in town about coming in and doing a From Sabotage to Success workshop, that's the name of the book I wrote. The materials have helped a lot of students to move past self-sabotage so they could accomplish goals like finishing college, getting a new job, starting a business and leaving an abusive relationship. Keep me in mind if you hear of a group who needs something like this. All the best with your work.
Hi Ryan, I got a chance to check out your links. Looks like really good stuff. I see you're an educator too. What do you teach and where? I'm looking for a summer gig...budget cuts took out my summer employment. I'd like to do trainings in the community. Let me know if you know of anything. I was the one in roller skates on Saturday..the only one in all pink with a flower in my hair. So if that sounds familiar, you saw me. Come say hi next time.
Yea man, I would be down w/ a mixer. We haven't had a midnight movie showing in a minute. I'm down to work something out w/ TheeDopeShow at the Puka Bar.
I'll build on the idea and holla at you. Good ish!
Thank you for connecting with us. Hope to see you at our next Creative Mixer & Potluck on Monday, November 30, 7-10pm @ Pollen Studios, 1332 Gladys Ave/Anaheim.
