Sybil Knight replied to Jesus Hernandez's discussion 'I'd Rather Not Occupy Long Beach'
"@Ben, the right to quiet enjoyment by others has been violated. The environment at the park is not conducive to a two-year olds' birthday party, a company picnic, a pleasant get together on a date, or a myriad of other uses ordinarily exercised…"

"I have no reason to lie. I did not give a case of food to the information booth. I parked in front of the library and about 12 of the homeless carried the food, blankets, sleeping bags, blankets, and clothes to the South East part of the lawn, near…"

Sybil Knight commented on The Man's blog post 'It's Official: No More Plastic Bags in Long Beach'
"I think a good idea, especially in this economy, is for the stores to make available the boxes they intend to discard. Some people can't afford the extra cost of paper bags, even at 10 cents each, and others - such as myself have…"

Sybil Knight replied to Jesus Hernandez's discussion 'I'd Rather Not Occupy Long Beach'
"Enough with the red herring arguments. The issue at hand is the park, the occupation of the park, the illegalities of camping in the park, and the fact that the park is a pigsty as a result of that camping. For whatever the reason, be it…"

Sybil Knight commented on The Man's blog post 'It's Official: No More Plastic Bags in Long Beach'
"I am curious why there are still unlimited plastic bags in the produce department; especially since those are the size and type of bags that are most likely to be discarded rather than re-used. I hadn't really paid attention until I was in the…"

There is no Constitutionally protected right to violate the rights of others while in the course of exercising one's own rights. Once you've grown tired of sleeping outdoors and another cause grabs your attention, you will go back to your homes, apartments, or dorms - and the other 99% of Long Beach residents…

Supporters and detractors of OWS both might find it…

This will be the new face of Long Beach if the City Council gives in to the demands of the occupiers. This is what happens when occupiers are…
