So me and my group of friends are for the most part 19. One is turning 20 soon and one is still 18. Often at times we have a hard time trying to figure out what to do in Long Beach when it's past 9pm. We grab food someplace cheap and find ourselves stuck at the dinner table or loitering and chatting in the parking lot. We do not like to loiter and I personally think it's quite embarrassing. On May 14th Roots Gourmet will be conducting a beach clean-up for employees, customers and the environmentally concerned alike at Junipero Beach in Long Beach. Volunteers will meet at the Lone Sailor Memorial, on Ocean Blvd., between Orizaba and Redondo Ave. in Bluff Park. The beach clean-up will be held from 10 to 10:30am.
