On the playground was where I spent most of my days
Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool
And all shootin some b-ball outside of the school.
Got my learnin' on in a city called Lakewood,
Wasn't feeling the females out there cuz I needed to stay hood,
Long Beach is where I wanted to go play,
So got my ass into Poly the very next day.
Joined the Army Reserve for 8 long years,
Always thought I'd have strong beach near,
They got me on a plane and said good luck
2 years in the south was where I was stuck.
Finished my ish and headed for the Cali,
was back in the hood without a dilly or a dally,
Spent a few years out in the San Francisco bay,
Learned about life love and weed the Cali way.
Found out my true calling was back in reach,
So I packed up my gear and headed straight for Long Beach.
Been living out with with my real family,
Drinking and Chilling was what I need,
To make my time here complete,
I have nice feet?

So yeah I've been on this site for a little while now and I'm just seeing the potential it has to really capture the essence that is Long Beach. I've meet the great minds behind the site and think that with their patience and dedication and hard work this can really take off and be a model for other smart young progressive cities to mirror.
