You may not be a regular viewer and I doubt that American Idol has anything to worry about but there is a channel on Charter Cable and Verizon that broadcasts television shows produced by anyone with a brain in their head and a beating heart. You guys did something to beautify a part of the landscape, so I'm going to bike over to the mural today to check it out, and pickup a piece of trash.
Again from my stance it's not a criticism on the art itself, it's about the state of the city that we both live in. I am not sitting on my ass criticizing from behind a chair. I work with community organizations to mentor youth and was actually involved with a mural project in the westside of Long Beach off Santa Fe blvd close to Willow (we ended up getting shut down so you guys were actually more successful than us).
My current group does activist trainings, writer's workshops, open mics, documentary film screenings, and open bboy sessions.

I'd like to continue this conversation in person instead of over the computer so if you'd be down I'd like to meet up. I think it would be dope if this initial disagreement became a catalyst for further change in LB.
Also, I lion dance and I think I recognize the uniform of the team in your first picture, are they the Immortals from Chinatown in LA?
