My personal favorite, but it's for more nostalgic reasons then anything else, is The Best Place Cafe... the serve breakfast all day everyday, which is of course my favorite...
I really can't pick a restaurant as my favorite. This is like a mother picking between her children, and I know this sounds harsh but it is the truth.

My wife has gotten me to try many kinds of foods and crepes is one of my top choices.
For crepes there are 2 places that come to mind:

1. La Creperie on 2nd st (I can't wait for them to make it to Pine Ave in a few months. They are taking over for the Hooters location and Hooters is moving down to The Pike)-http://tinyurl.com/yb9aw7d

2. Delightful Crepes
1190 Studebaker Rd
Long Beach, CA 90815

Granted, I have only eaten there once but it was really good.

I just found The Heritage Cafe on Carson and Paramount and have fallen for it. They serve breakfast all day and much of their menu is homemade, including their biscuits, raisin bread and wheat bread.

(I know title says Favorite restaurants in Long Beach but this is one is neighboring.

I love the Potholder for breakfast...and Secret Spot in Seal Beach!

My vote goes to Awesome Sushi and Baja Senora.
