Wow. I'm glad I found this group. People down for books, right here in Long Beach is friggin cool as anything. Hey, I'm just getting started on this thing. Here's a short introduction. I write books. There. My new novel just came out In Blackness. It's available basically wherever books are sold. And it's on the kindle as well, if you swing that way. It's also available on the Ipad.

Kite Runner? I'm gonna have to check that one out...I tend to get some decent recommendations from TheMan over there.

I'm checking out the book that I never gave back to LBCC. It's about pyramids and people building their own pyramids. They put raw meat or used razor blades and they never age! Pretty tight stuff.

I'm reading a book right now called Sacred Hoops by Phil Jackson. Pretty good. He wrote it in like 95. He talks about he uses Zen in his everyday and how to apply it to Basketball. Real good and practical read.

Well the Kite Runner came from a book, and was made into a movie.

You're welcome. Glad I was able to bless you with my presence - I mean uhh glad you got a chance to check the movie.

Just saw Kite Runner, thanks to TheMan!, that movie is REEEAAALLY Good! (Sorry I know that wasn't really book related but still)

I received A Thousand Splendid Suns this past Christmas as a gift and found it to be a wonderful read. Even though its fiction, it was very interesting to read the lifestyle of a woman in Afghanistan. If you read or saw the movie The Kite Runner, I highly recommend you read this story. I think its even better and would make an awesome movie!
