This a TOUGH question... On what criteria do you chose to make the decision... Go with a classic great like Pyror or Carlin... someone more my generation like early Eddie Murphy, or a more current like Chapelle? Or some lesser known comic who's just fuckin briliant funny... I couldn't even pick just one...

I like Paul Mooney and Martin Lawrence.

Carlin is a boss too. I think bill hicks is overrated. I wish I was smart enough to understand Woody Allen's jokes...

Way too many like @JulsnMatt1028 said, it depends on what criteria, stand up, sitcom, film?
I like comedy that I can relate to, tickles my bone & leaves me laughing for days..

Daniel Tosh makes me laugh hard, but so does Ellen, Wanda Sykes, Katt Williams, Margaret Cho, Kathy Griffin - as others have said, just too many to list. I love me some good stand up!
