WOW congrats to your son! It is great to have support on such a BIG decision like that... he is lucky to have you by his side! What kind of car?
Yes, congrats to your son! Everyone's going to Vegas... WTH??
If you're thinking of a new car... may I suggest

Just got to work... checking my citylife and myspace. Going to have a productive day. Finish all my cases this morning then start my homework! TONIGHT: MORE PHOTO EDITING! man, that is a NEVER ENDING JOB! lol... Did you guys hear, another "gang related" shooting/death in long beach! Now do you see why I dont watch the NEWS!
Sounds good :)
Did you win some cash???
Hmm, just what am I doing? Well, at this very moment, not much. 364 miles north of you guys, the weather here in Carmel-by-the-Sea is our summer usual - foggy. Actually, our summers don't climatically begin until September then prolong until the end of October - late November when we're lucky. Thats when the temps go up. Otherwise an hour trip down to Big Sur where the temps right now are around 90 by my secret swim hole in the Big Sur River.
This past week we had the annual Concourse D' Elegance, or as I call it, the Concourse D' Arrogance. I found that many, many Carmel locals stay away from all of these events. I mean, the amount of snobs with their "nose-up-in-the-air" attitudes is so disgustingly unreal. Next year I plan to escape for the Concours week and hang with my buddy, Eric Djuvstad, in LBC. Oh sure, the expensive cars are cool to look at - for all of a few moments. But the real event is along Ocean Avenue. I sit on the stone bench by the sidewalk outside of Harrison Memorial Library to watch the "Botox Betty Catwalk" as it goes by every day of the event. I tell ya', theres just as much money, maybe more, invested in all the plastic surgery and Botox walking by, as the featured cars are valued at. Its sad to see an obviously older woman walk past with lips looking like they're glued to her nose while dressed like she's in a college sorority. Very sad.
Well, aside from my ranting over this, I'll probably hop on the bus in a few hours and head over to the old Monterey Farmers Market, and if I arrive early enough I'll walk down Alvarado Street while the produce vendors set up, head to Fishermans Wharf #1, and suck down a Bloody Mary or two at the Sandbar before picking up a few things at the farmers market. Oy vey; life is rough. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink! Love ya' Long Beach. You guys be good down there. Take a walk down Fourths Retro Row for me. Be sure to stop in at Meow. Hey, by the way, for all you hardcore reggae fans, Labor Day weekend is the annual Monterey Bay Reggae Fest where you can dance, groove, and puff your lungs out for three days at the Monterey Fairgrounds. RASTA VOODOO MON! Party on Garth!
Maaaan! You've got it MADE up there!

4th Street sends it's love right back to ya! Big Sidewalk sale this weekend...
Aha! I'm working, reading as much as possible and playing with our new kitty. Oh and counting the days until the Girls Weekend to Vegas in September.
Did someone say Vegas?! ha ha YOU LUCKY! Hope you have fun :)
Let's go Juls!
I am trying to pull myself away from the computer, so I can get some laundry done!!
