So, what are your thoughts on this? Are you afraid you might catch it? Do you think it's a real threat to our health?
From what I've read, the swine flu has the exact symptoms of the common flu, which also can be deadly in some cases. I personally think there is no reason to panic at this point. I don't think it's deadly to most individuals. However, if a person has other health complications, then any flu could be deadly to them.
This is on my mind because I currently have the flu. I have had a fever, sore throat, chills, aches, coughing, bronchial congestion and fatigue and I'm still alive. I've missed work, because they don't want me to come in. But overall I'm on the mend. I'm pretty fatigued at this point. Perhaps I have the swine flu, but maybe it's just plain old influenza. No one I've had contact with has become ill in the past week. But many people at Long Beach City College are sick with some kind of virus and I think that's where I got infected.
I say, don't be scared of a little flu. It can make you feel like crap, but it won't kill you!
I think it's a common strain of the flu. Nothing to worry about, don't let the globalists trick you into going crazy. I just find it funny how it got big word once Obama left Mexico. And he, "happened" to stand next to a guy who had the flu during his trip out there - who eventually died.
In this Alex Jones report a caller describes the state of health in Mexico. I think one of the reasons why people are getting very ill is because the air quality is so bad.
What if swine is helping to push universal health care..."Hey see that flu you have? If you had universal healthcare we could cure that for you...buuuut you don't."

hum.. this is a good theory.. but what if it's some form of population control? the world is very overpopulated.. or what if some crazy shit like the "superflu" from stephen king's book The Stand happens? i guess it's like my hubby says.. if an "if" was a fifth we'd all be drunk.. i hate it when he uses that stupid phrase to argue with me, but it can be true

the way i see it is the government is pumping this up more than it needs to be. i think it's just an excuse to use the swine flu shot on people and test it out more since the swine flu hit all them years back. of course no one wants to be a lab rat. it's sad tho because in some places they're threatening the nurses and doctors in the hospitals, either take the shot or loose your job.
anyway, in America alone, about 36,000 people die every year from flu complications (and that's the normal flu). but the H1N1 virus hasn't even tipped the scale on worldwide deaths. i don't even think it's anywhere near 10,000. Last I read it was almost at 5,000 deaths worldwide.
i sure ain't going to worry myself sick over it. i'm just glad my kids aren't in school yet so they won't be around any kids that might have it. even tho i don't worry about it, it would scare me if my doc told me one of my kids had it.
