When he was attending Poly High School, the young guitar player was preparing to go on tour with The Artist Formerly Known As Prince. Jump to present-day Long Beach, and 24 year-old Jairus Mozee and father of a beautiful girl is one of the strongest names floating around the music circuit.
Touring with music greats such as Method Man, Lil Wayne, Anthony Hamilton, Fantasia, and more, Mozee continues to affect listeners with his hypnotic guitar playing. He does all of this while still finding time to jam at local venues such as The Factory and Nino's Italian Restaurant.
In fact, I actually grew up with guy back in my saxophone playing days but I never would've thought he would be become such a musical icon in my opinion. Just ask anyone who knows anything about current guitar players, and drop Mozee's name, and they'll know what's up.
I had the chance to sit down and do a video interview with him to speak with him about how much of a role does music play in his life. Enjoy.
You can also check out one of his solos in the video below.
You can connect with Jairus on Twitter: @jairusmozee or on Facebook by clicking here.
Have you heard Jairus play? Do you play an instrument? Have you jammed with him before? Let it be known below.

It's always good to hear what he has to say about his music and hear him play as well.
