Mars will be in a Retrograde motion from January 25 - April 15. Mars is a planet of action, and it rules new beginnings, self expression, sexuality, machines, and war. When the planet Mars moves into a Retrograde motion, the planet appears to be spinning backwards in the heavens. It can be a very challenging time where we might feel like we are paddling upstream and things are moving at a snail's pace. For an action planet like Mars, it can be challenging to deal with these setbacks and delays.

However we also have a very harmonious pattern of flowing energy between Mars, Jupiter and Pluto, during this cycle, and its a golden opportunity to heal and transform personal issues that may be creating blocks to happiness and freedom. This 10 week cycle is an opportune time to become more conscious of your actions and reactions to situations and relationships. What communication needs to be expressed to those in your personal and professional life in a kind and thoughtful manner?

We will learn some practical ways to move through this Mars retrograde cycle with ease and grace, and tap into the strong healing energies available to us as well. We are going to laugh and have some fun as we do several role-playing exercises with the different planetary energies so we can learn to be flexible and creative in our actions and communications during this period.

Our Astrological Adventure will be hosted by Sidereal Astrologer and Life Coach, Ami Sattinger. Ami has a background in Holistic Health,Medical Astrology and Life Coaching and has taught classes about crystals and gemstones, as well as being a Divine Light Practitioner, an Improvisational Theater Actor and a Puppeteer. She has been giving Astrology readings and teaching classes and workshops for over 25 years in the Northwest, the SF Bay Area, and has now moved to Southern California to contribute her gifts to the community. We are really blessed to have this talented and supportive healer on our team.
