The 2nd Annual Labor Day Weekend Ride of Long Beach will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 10am in Shoreline Village. This marks the one-year anniversary of the first-ever, organized group Trikke ride in the city of Long Beach.
Join TrikkeWorld Magazine and SouthBay Trikke (SBT&T) for surprises! Prizes! Among the prizes awarded will be a new T7 Trikke, discounts at local stores and a harbor cruise! Plus we have a special guest attending, the inventor of the Trikke carving vehicle, Gildo Beleski!
This is the ride that put Long Beach on the Trikke world map and would ultimately lead to the creation of TrikkeWorld Magazine, headquartered in Long Beach. The co-host of the rides throughout Southern California is SouthBay Trikke.
Everyone is welcome! Meet us at Shoreline Village, 429 Shoreline Village Drive in Long Beach. The ride begins and ends at the base of Parker’s Lighthouse, on the bike path, around 9:30am. The course is approximately 13 miles round trip. Food and drinks afterwards in Shoreline Village.
